8/26/25 Rivet started his journey in rescue a few years ago, coming to us from the South. We didn’t figure he had much of a life previously and came into rescue with many issues.
He got care and treatment for all the things and was a happy and easy going boy. The great thing about him, he was always happy. He found a home in Arizona and became Walter. Walter has lived a life of love for the last 29 months with his family. He has been happy. We are grateful he was so loved. Unfortunately, they lost their precious Walter. The loss is so great for those of us who care so deeply. His family is shattered. I know we have wanted for them a long time, and it hurts when we have them for a short time, but quality over quantity and we are relieved he finally got the life he always deserved. He will be missed. Rest in Peace, Walter.
