10/24/25 11 years ago, I pulled a hound mix out of the shelter. He was terrified. It took me quite a while to get him from the shelter to the car. This guy was a big baby. He was so sweet though. A beautiful boy, who ended up finding his forever home around 4 months later.
Shelton was afraid of everything and with him being so timid, I did not know if the family would hang on and take the journey with him. They did and in doing so, really made Shelton part of the family. He flourished in his home and ended up having a canine sister and loved his daddy! Unfortunately at approximately 12 years of age, Shelton crossed over the rainbow bridge surrounded in love. I thank Doug and Julie for giving him the family he needed and loving him fiercely.
