4/16/26 Luddy came to us from a shelter. Luddy had been dumped into the shelter as a senior and in horrific condition. Luddy was not with us long at all but I know the time with us was likely the best week of his life. Luddy did have a biopsy but stopped eating last Saturday. We received the results, just as we thought, cancer… but with the extended days of not eating and struggling more and more, we made the decision to let him go as the results came in. It is a tragedy to me to allow a dog to get to this condition. It is about quality and how can you tell me this was a quality life? We did the best we could for Luddy. Rest in peace Luddy.
