8/9/26 Brit came to us from a precarious situation. She and another dog were forced to live outdoors, and when the family decided to move, they left the dogs behind. Another rescue had committed to them but ran into transportation issues traveling – just through one state and were stranded. Thankfully, Pilots N Paws stepped in and flew both dogs to us.
At the time, Brit was thought to be about 9 years old. Her future family had been looking for a younger dog, but the moment they met Brit, they were completely drawn in. It was love at first sight. 
Brit became a true lifeline for them. She went on many adventures, was fully part of the family, and even moved across the country with them.

Brit was 16 when she peacefully crossed the Rainbow Bridge, surrounded by the family who loved her so deeply.
We are truly sorry for their loss and cannot begin to express how grateful we are for the wonderful life they gave her. We hope that in time, the many beautiful memories will bring them comfort. Rest in peace, dear Brit. We are so glad you found the family you always deserved.
