4/21/25 A little over 3 years ago, we took in a little 4 lb yorkie. She had been neglected and not in great condition. Berri was home within an hour of arriving into the rescue. One of our yorkie past adopters had agreed to foster to adopt her. She instantly fell in love and after Berri got on track with seeing an eye specialist and all, and became a happy healthy girl. Unfortunately, Berri had some beginning issues of a collapsing trachea and passed away this weekend. We are grateful for the love her family gave her. We are so sorry for their loss.
