Thank You, FeraPet — Helping Our Ridglan Beagles Thrive

When you rescue a beagle who has never known a soft bed, a backyard, or a kind hand, the work doesn’t end the day they come home — that’s where it begins. Getting these dogs healthy, strong, and ready for their forever families takes a whole community. This week, that community grew a little bigger.

Southern Nevada Beagle Rescue Foundation (SNBRF) is proud to be one of the rescues that took in beagles from Ridglan Farms, a commercial breeding facility in Wisconsin that supplied dogs to testing laboratories. Roughly 1,500 beagles were released, and rescues across the country opened their doors to give these dogs the second chance they have always deserved. Many of them had spent their entire lives in cages. For the ones who landed here in Nevada, everything is new — the feel of dirt under their paws, sunshine on their backs, and the simple freedom to sniff and explore.

That fresh start comes with real needs, and good nutrition is one of the biggest. So we want to say a heartfelt thank you to FeraPet for their generous donation of supplements to our rescue.

These supplements will help get our Ridglan beagles on a healthy track — supporting their immune systems, coats, joints, and overall wellbeing as they recover from the only life they have ever known. For dogs starting from such a difficult place, that kind of support makes a genuine difference, and it means our volunteers and foster families have one more tool to help these beagles flourish.

To everyone at FeraPet: thank you for seeing these dogs, for caring about their health, and for standing alongside us. Gifts like yours are what turn a rescue into a real recovery.

And to our supporters, fosters, and volunteers — the beagles in these photos are doing exactly what beagles are meant to do: exploring, playing, resting in the shade, and learning what it means to just be a dog. Thank you for making that possible.
