6/2023 – Sesame is approximately 6 years of age. He came into rescue after being hit by a car. He had to have surgery for a 
diaphragmatic hernia. (this is where the organs in the abdomen are in the chest cavity). He also had to be treated for heartworms. He also had surgery for his legs and pelvis, which were broken. He has hardware in him now so he is unable to even bend that leg.
He is very overweight which is not helping him as he has a hard time getting up and carrying his weight. We are working on getting the weight off him so he can actually walk and half a life. Currently he army crawls a lot to get around.
