8/24/23 Gunner was in our rescue at the age of one and was adopted. Now 10 years later, he was returned. We will always take our dogs back, but it saddens us also that they did not want to see him to the end. Gunner was returned because he is now blind. He was falling in the pool and starting to have accidents. We are very suspicious of glaucoma as the root of his blindness. Glaucoma is a painful disease, especially if untreated. We have appointments with the regular vet for an overall assessment as well as the eye doctor. Unfortunately, it takes time to get in. We try to evaluate on our own and care for him.
